Eli, a Solomon Island Eclectus, and firm mascot

Eli came to our office  every day for over a year.  Staff and clients  were very patient with his method of dealing with having to spend the day with a bunch of accountants.  The loud chatter, visiting offices, gnawing on an occasional file, sneaking up behind people and squawking were tolerated.  Even the other building tenants seemed to enjoy his presence.

However, Eli never did learn appropriate business behavior.  The day he screamed at a poor visiting IRS agent was his last in the office.  He now stays at home, watching cartoons, and occasionally CNN and CSpan.
